The 2019 European Master Games will be in Turin from 26 July to 4 August 2019.

The 2019 EMGs are a unique sporting event that promotes sport, aggregation, local territory and Piedmontese food and wine tastes.

Who can participate at the European Master Games?

The 2019 Turin EMG are open to athletes from all over the world.

To participate in competitions, it is essential to be 30 years of age.

The 2019 Torino EMGs include more than 30 sports.

The sports in which athletes can try are: Climbing, Athletics, Badminton, Beach volley, Football, Canoe/Kayak, Rowing, Cycling, Dance, Duathlon, Floorball, Futsal, Golf, Field Hockey, Judo, Karate, Swimming and Water Polo, Paddle, Basketball, Handball, Volleyball, Rugby, Fencing, Softball, Weightlifting, Taekwondo, Tennis, Shooting, Clay Shooting, Archery, Triathlon and Wakeboard.

Rules for participation at the EMG 2019

To participate in the 2019 EMG that will be in Turin:

  • It is necessary be at least 30 years old;
  • It is possible to register by practicing 3 sports and 5 disciplines. For example, those who practice soccer at EMG 2019 can register in the male or female “11 a side football” discipline. Those who practice cycling, can try out the Road Race, the Criterium or the Time Trial;
  • A valid competitive sports medical certificate is required;
  • Registration to the sports federation of reference is required for Duathlon, Judo, Karate, Weightlifting, Taekwondo, Shooting, Shooting and Triathlon;
  • Health insurance is required for non-EU participants who do not have the European Health Insurance Card.
