FAQ

01. Are tariffs intended per flat or per person?

Tariffs shown are intended for a flat lodging two people. There is an additional charge of Euro 15,00 for the third person.

02. Is there an extra charge for children?

Children are welcome and will not be charged any extra until 12 years of age. For babies you will find in the flat, children cots, highchairs, dressing tables and toys free of charge.

03. Which is the extension of flats?

There are flats of 40 – 60 – 100 – 130 square meters, a wide choice which offers solutions for every type of request.

04. What do you mean by equipped kitchen?

For equipped kitchen we intend a kitchen complete of kitchenware, cutlery, tableware and pottery, fridge with freezer, squeezer and microwave oven. Percolator, kettle and toaster are optional. Some apartments are equipped with dishwasher.

05. Is it possible to have breakfast room service?

Breakfast room service is available from Monday to Saturday; upon request our staff will be glad to deliver your breakfast directly from the cafeteria next door. Breakfast can be paid directly to the waitress or to the reception when you check out.

06. My working timetable does not allow me to do my shopping

We offer a home shopping delivery service; you just have to send an e-mail with your shopping list and our personnel will deliver it in the morning directly to your room.

07. What do you mean by office area in the flat?

It’s a dedicated area inside the flat, furnished with writing desk and with free cable and / or wireless ADSL internet connection 10 Mbit, telephone with answering machine and fax, where you can peacefully work from home.

08. What is a double king size bed?

Double beds with extra size dimensions , larger than normal beds, as a good sleep is essential in order to have a good start in the morning.

09. How many TV sets are there in the flats? Are there inter

A TV set is usually placed either in the sitting room and in the bedroom and some flats are equipped with a third TV set, in the bedroom, in the lounge and in the dining room. There are 80 free Sky Channels , jstv and the most important international channels, Pay per View , VCR and DVD and 30 music channels.

10. Is there the possibility to have a laundry service ?

Yes, laundry service is available from Monday to Friday with an additional cost and with daily pick up of clothes by 12.00 a.m. and daily delivery of clothes within 17.00 p.m the next day.; the price list for laundry service is shown in the leaflet placed in your flat.

11. Is the cleaning service of the flat included in the flat

Yes, cleaning is done every day ( except on Sundays ) from our own personnel.

12. Are kitchen linen, bathroom & bedroom clothes supplied?

Yes, bathroom towels, bed-clothes and kitchen linen are supplied and changed twice a week.

13. Is there a restaurant within the Residence?

No , but nearby there are many restaurants which can as well offer home delivery.

14. Do you ask for a deposit payment ?

For all bookings, a deposit of 30% of the total is to be paid when confirming. For online bookings, payment can be settled by sending your credit card details or doing a bank transfer of the 30% of the total. For bookings made via telephone, via e-mail or directly to the Residence the payment of the deposit should be done within 2 days from booking date through bank transfer, bank card or credit card (American Express, Visa, CartaSi, Dinners). In this last case the Residence may verify the validity of the credit card before arrival upon authorization of the circuit used. As soon as we received confirm of payment from our bank account, we will send the booking confirmation. The balance of the booking should be paid directly in the Residence within the day before check out date.

Reservations with non-refundable rate require full payment at time of booking for the entire stay (with credit card or bank transfer).

 

15. What is your IBAN code for bank transfers ?

16. Cancellation policy:Do you apply penalties in case of cancellation?

No penalty is applied in case of cancellation 24 hours before arrival. After this term of 24 hours before arrival, for any cancellation or no-show, the penalty applied will be equal to the amount of the first day stay of the apartment booked. Particular conditions can be agreed directly with the Residence Direction.

Non-refundable rate bookings cancellation policy: there is no refund in case of cancellation. The credit can be used to book for a further stay (the offer is subject to availibility and does not include high season).


From  31 July to 12 Agust 2013 (hig season rate) in case of cancellation:

 

  • within 30 of June 2013, the entire deposit will be refund
  • within 15 of July 2013 the 50% of the deposit will be refund
  • after 15 of July 2013 any refund will be possible

 

17. Are animals allowed?

Pets are allowed but it is necessary to confirm the presence of animal when confirming your reservation as some apartments may not be suitable to host them. We offer as well dog-sitting service on demand. Any harm or damage caused by the animal will be paid at the moment of check out by the owner who has the responsibility.

18. Is there a parking area next to the Residence?

Being a hsitorical palace, we have in front of our residence about 5 free places reserved for us (but the first arrived, first served). If available, one can leave the car as long as possible.

  • There is also the blue paying area which is along Via Sacchi that costs euro 1,50/hour.
  • Another alternative is a private guarded parking at 300 metres behind the residence at the cost of euro 18/20 per day depending on the size of the vehicle. We can reserve it for you at your arrival.

19. What are your check in and check out times ?

Check in can be done from 12,00 (noon)

Check out is to be done by 11.00 a.m.

Upon request and subject to availability you can make a late check out until 5:00 pm for a 50 Euro additional fee.

 

 

20. What is a non- refundable rate?

It is possible to get a 20% off non -refundable rate during specific periods of the year (the offer is subject to availability).

To get the non-refundable rate you must pay for your full stay immediately (with credit card or bank transfer).

 There is no refund in case of cancellation. However, you can use your credit to book for a further stay (the offer is subject to availibility and does not include high season).
